A holiday garnish that’s easy to make and will impress your guests!
Another Thanksgiving weekend in the books! How was yours? Did you over indulge, as you should? I definitely did.
Even though it’s not December quite yet, I’m ready for the holiday festivities to continue. This week I’m bringing you a series of recipes, that were originally used together to make a super yummy and festive holiday cocktail (coming Friday!). But I figured, hey, each part of this recipe could be used so many other amazing ways, so I’ll spread the love!
So here we are…first up, Sugar Coated Cranberries. A.K.A. the perfect holiday cocktail garnish. Or holiday decor…that you can eat! Little Christmas ornaments that are perfectly sweet and tart all in one!
In between all the holiday party prep, these beauties will take hardly no time out of your busy day. Most of the time is inactive, which means you can keep checking off items on your to-do list. Or catch up on your next series on Netflix.
First, boil the cranberries in a simple syrup solution; drain and let dry for about 30 minutes. The cranberries will be sticky, which is where our sugar comes in. Roll, roll, roll! Coat them in sugar and you’ll have magical holiday garnish in no time!
